The above piece was a collaborative piece inspired by my friend and fellow artist, Jen Snyder. I say “collaborative” because my children, Nathaniel (3) and Ella (almost 2) helped me paint it as a Valentine’s Day gift for my husband. They did most of the painting, while I added the color squares and wrote “Live Like You Believe”, which is the title for one of the songs on Nate’s album.

This piece was commissioned by the “Seacoast Lollipop Man”, Mr. Chuck Lowry. It is made of over 100 Dum-Dum lollipop wrappers and now hangs over Mr. Lowry’s head, where every weekend he passes out lollipops to all the children coming out of church.
